With a strong focus on customer service, we carry the largest selection of Simmons mattresses in Atlantic Canada as well as quality linens and pillows and specialize in beautiful youth and adult collections of solid wood Canadian-made furniture.

We also feature specialty latex mattresses, making us the greenest mattress store in Atlantic Canada. We specialize in adjustable beds with a large selection that appeals to all age groups including a couple friendly 30″ split Queen or King model. We are here to help you make good, healthy choices for better sleep and a beautiful bedroom.

Halifax

Jordanna Caine is the President of Simmons Mattress Gallery. She has attended specialty training programs all over North America and brings a deep understanding of all aspects of the business to Simmons Mattress Gallery. She can be seen and heard in the TV, radio and newspaper advertisements.

Daniel Caine is the Simmons Mattress Gallery Sales Manager. With his great understanding of Simmons products he will make your mattress shopping experience enjoyable and informative. Daniel has over 14 years experience in the industry in both Canada and Australia.

Dave Cleversey has a wonderful manner with people and can make that sometimes-confusing shopping experience much simpler. He has an incredible 40 years experience in bedding and makes the challenging and often confusing mattress shopping experience much easier for you.

Halifax Staff

With over 30 years experience selling bedding Charlene Ayers is a fountain of knowledge! She has an easy going nature and is ready to listen to you and help you find the right sleep set to give you that great night’s sleep you’ve been looking for!

Dartmouth

Paul Nickituk is the Manager of our Dartmouth store and has a great deal of experience to offer you. He is energetic, knowledgeable and friendly and will help you feel at ease during your visit to the store. Paul really takes the time to listen and work with you to find the best for your rest!

Dwaine Dixon has been in the industry for over ten years and owes his success to an intimate knowledge of his products, an attentive and caring mind and a manner to put you at ease.

In the Community

As a business member of the local community, Simmons Mattress Gallery is actively involved in fundraising activities for several important causes.

Leukemia Patient Support

Derek Caine was diagnosed with leukemia some 6 years ago and to help him cope he turned to music. He plays the blues harp and sings. He formed a band which he called Little Derek and the Haemo Blues Band and recorded two CDs to raise money, the second of which won the blues recording of the year in the 2006 Music Nova Scotia Awards. To date Derek has raised over $120,000 to help leukemia patients at the QE11 hospital who have financial challenges during their treatment for leukemia.

Blanket of Hope!

Every winter, Simmons Mattress Gallery asks the people of Nova Scotia to drop off warm blankets and comforters, old or new, to the two stores. They are donated to two homes that care for people who are less fortunate than us, Adsum House and Metro Turning Point.
